Goodies Taster Box Review + your own free box for the month!

The next thing to cover on the agenda is the Goodies taster box.

They send you a box towards the end of every month and it's filled with.. Goodies! They fill a box with various new snacks for you to try and review. It's only $7 a month, and you can get your first box free by typing in the code PSsJ6kXrP.

This was so exciting to open, I had no idea what to expect.

It was full of tasty, and very healthy snacks that you can indulge in.

The first thing I opened was the Cosmo Creations - Caramel. This was a bit odd to me because I did not expect salted caramel to be good. The last time I tried it was in a hot chocolate and it was not really my thing. It reminded me a lot of popcorn - which is basically is. It's oven baked corn, and all natural. It was too good to stop eating! These little morsels melt in your mouth and leave you saying "Mmm."

I was pretty familiar with Glaceau because of Vitamin Water, so I really did not expect to be disappointed with the Fruit Water. It's a sparkling water and I got the flavor Strawberry Kiwi. This was one of the most refreshing drinks I have had in a while. I am not much for carbonation, but this one would be an exception. The only downside? There is not more to it!

Next was The Better Chip Spinach and Kale Sea Salt Chips. These chips were not what I was expecting. Even though they are made with Spinach and Kale, you don't taste it. They taste like yummy tortilla chips and are wonderful with a homemade salsa. This is something I would definitely buy in place of the usual salty tortilla chips. These have the right amount of seasoning and are low in calories.

The Crunchmaster Gluten Free Sea Salt Crackers are made with whole grain brown rice, stone-ground corn, oat fiber and a 4-seed blend, and are oven baked. I really did not expect these to be good on their own, and I was right. The taste reminded me a bit of a cross between Cherrios and Triscuits, only... without Triscuit texture. They were wonderful when I put a slice of sharp cheddar with them, and they would probably be delicious with a dill dip and sliced carrots.

The last product was definitely my favorite. It was Gimbals Cherry Lovers Fruit Chews and really lives up to it's name. I am in fact a cherry lover and enjoyed this bag. The Wild Cherry one was the best, but there were only three of them! It's almost like when you get Jolly Ranchers and they only give you two of the blue ones out of the entire pack. Back to the product - There were a variety of different cherry flavors that were almost as yummy; black cherry, cherry cheesecake, kiwi cherry, cherry daiquiri, wild cherry, bing cherry, cherry cola, and cherry vanilla. The best part is that it's healthy and enough to satisfy a sweet tooth. They are made with real cherry juice and high in antioxidant witamin c.

I was truly blessed to try out this box. Opening it was truly a great experience and I am glad to have found a couple new treats to get on my shopping trips. I will be a sucker for those Cherry Lovers candies!

24/7 Frenzy Review

In the last blog post I stated that I was fortunate enough to receive some things in the mail. One of them was from a giveaway I won via Shopping Wives. It was a $50 gift card and I used it on two lovely tops and a bandeau.
Let me tell you how difficult it is for me to buy cloths. I have to shop in the childrens dept. for pants, and tops usually hang off of me in an odd way and tend to make me look a little chunky even though I am not. These shirts happened to flow perfectly with my body. They are loose in a fashionable way, not in a "this shirt looks two sizes too big" kind of way. The bandeau was also the perfect fit. Bras and bandeau's are the worse to shop for. Specifically bandeau's. I don't have the biggest chest, but it's not small either. I can find bandeau's that /kind of/ fit, but they are never perfect. Sometimes I am out in public and I have to adjust it because it starts to slide. One time it actually fell down. It was a horrifying moment, but I do not think anyone saw what happened.

These tops are soo cute! I was squeeling when I got them. Not only are they high quality, but they came in quickly too. I ordered on 7/18, and got it 7/22. I expected it to come a few days later. It was a pleasant surprise.
If you have the chance, you should check them out.

Wonderful surprises!

This has been a great start to the week. My mom and I decided that we needed to have a mother/daughter day, especially since I will be going off to college in three weeks. We spent the day doing facials, watching movies, and even made eggrolls and wontons!

Before...

After!

It has also been a great two days for mail. I received my package from 24/7 Frenzy, my gift from MailChimp and my Goodies Co. tasters box! You can get a free box by entering the code PSsJ6kXrP. A review for 24/7 Frenzy and Goodies Co will be posted a little bit later.

Thanks MailChimp!

This little guy brightened my day!
I hope you have a fantastic day.

Free Kiss Nails at Dollar General

Today has been a slow day for me. I worked on Swagbucks and happened to qualify for a survey. That never really happens, so I was extremely excited.

Now, this afternoon I went to Dollar General with the intentions of getting some food for dinner (and they did not have what my mom and I needed sadly..) but I also remembered that I had printed off a few coupons for the Kiss Nails.

I almost had a heart attack because I remembered earlier in the week that I had seen the deal, but I almost missed these. There were several marked for $2.50, but I could not find the $1. They happened to be among them, but there were only four on the shelf. Since I am going to be in marching band for college, I cannot have my nails painted or long. This will be the perfect solution! They easily come on and can easily come off. Now I just have to think of a way to reapply them to get maximum use. (Because I don't have the money to keep buying them!)

The deal?

KISS Artificial Nails $1
=FREE!

After running around the store I went to McDonalds since I had a free coupon for the new quarter pounders, and managed to get home just in time for it to start pouring down rain out of no where.

There was a beautiful double rainbow afterwards!
So today has been both eventful and uneventful, but it is now the weekend. Time to relax!
Have a great weekend!

Everyone has to start somewhere

Well, here it is!
The smell of a brand new blogger.
dun dun dun.....

It is more like - new beginnings. At least for me. In a few weeks I will be off on my own to college. That is a HUGE deal, even though I pretend like it is not. I have never had a true job, I do not even have a car. I have my bike, money that I have saved, coupons, and my knowledge of living on a budget. Nothing has really been easy for me, it has usually been one thing after the other. From moving, school activities, and people who try to bring me down, I have had to live through it all and as far as I am concerned, I am alive!

This blog will be tracking my lifestyle. Anything can come up here, such as makeup I am wearing, outfits, my couponing or frugal hauls, things I get in the mail, just let your mind wander - there might be something here that you might fancy.

My goal is to make it out alive, and I will make sure that happens. (:
